The contact owns a 2004 Mitsubishi Endeavor. While having the tires rotated an independent mechanic advised the contact that the screws on the axle were rusting. The front drivers side axle screw was replaced. The manufacturer was notified and informed him that this was due to normal wear and tear on the vehicle. The failure mileage was 140,000 and the current mileage was 157,824.
