Summary

This is a Technical Service Bulletin sent to dealers. this bulletin instructs dealers to use a software update that is now available, for the Smartphone Link Display Audio built by JVC Kenwood. The update resolves several issues, including: audio-related concerns, language translation error on the display in French, MPG (miles per gallon) displayed on screen instead of "fuel consumption," and EV charge cost history is occasionally erased when power switch is turned On or Off. This bulletin supersedes TSB-18-54-004, issued June, 2018 to add additional affected vehicles and to restate the importance of updating each vehicle with the correct vehicle specific software file.
