Eclipse has 90,000 + miles on car and has been having brake issues for ongoing months. First, brake light comes on (along with issues on stopping on time at red light, stop sign etc.) then auto shop said it was master cylinder, so that was replaced and brake light went off. Then a couple weeks after brake light comes back on, and auto shop said it was low on brake fluid so that was fixed and brake light went off. But the entire time cylinder was replaced it continued to work so poorly (Especially in the RAIN) that I've been so close to having wrecks. I've had to run up on a curve to dodge hitting the car in front of me while it was wet outside because the brakes did not respond AT ALL. If the ABS is the problem and these eclipse cars can't reset themselves, then how is this legal to keep letting drivers risk their lives or kids. I would enjoy seeing the idiots that made the cars try and drive in them without getting in a wreck and killing someone, unless they know how to drive without using the breaks AT ALL. Recall needs to be happening, all of us eclipse owners paid thousands of dollars to buy the car, so i'm pretty sure they can afford to fix what piece of shts they made.

I almost had a wreck on the interstate while driving 45 miles per hour because I could not put my brakes while it was raining and wet.The brakes are unresponsive and act like you have to push twice because now they go so far to the floor. I've replaced master cylinder and now brakes are still malfunctioning. This is the most unsafe way to drive. You will see pretty soon someone getting hurt from this, because the car makers lack of responsibility to solve this issue. Because NO other car dealers, auto shops, etc. KNOWS how to FIX this.
