Consumer stated while traveling 35 mph vehicle involved in a frontal impact. Neither dual air bags deployed from impact of crash.

Consumer was driving 65mph vehicle was involved in a frontal collision. Upon impact, both driver and passenger airbags did not deploy. The vehicle was considered a total loss. Consumer received injuries including severe back and neck pain, and lacerations to the stomach and shoulder areas.

Son was driving vehicle & was turning round a curb when vehicle failed to respond to steering. Steering wheel locked up, lost control of vehicle & hit a fence. Had applied brakes which stopped vehicle suddenly. Driver hit head on windshield due to air bag not deploying. Was able to back vehicle up & steering worked okay. Had emergency room treatment & released.

The air bags failed to deploy during the accident. The dealer did a diagnostic test on the vehicle but the customer never heard from the dealer since then. They could have defaulted.
