Power steering leaking / badly. Dealer wanted $350.00 for new hose which rubbed into from starter heat shield which was a bad design and has a special bulletin. I bought part for $80.00 and fixed myself. ater repair car went into immobile mode, no crank no start.
Online line found put key in door and lock, unlock and car started. drove 2 times, now it will not crank to start, It will push start being a manual trans. Battery voltage was low so replaced battery.Still no crank to start. Live 50 miles from dealer and I am 36 yr experienced tech. Called dealer, he did call me back after he researched and said his tech had no idea what problem could be.No repair manuals available locally,All data was no help: tech bulletin SI 21-03-08 is for no start but can not find details on fix?
