After owning the car hardly a year, and with driving less than 8 thousand miles a year, AND keeping it inside the garage, the rubber seals around the windows, as well as the (plastic/rubber) seal under the windshield wipers between the hood and windshield are deteriorating seemingly exponentially. They keep chipping off more often and sometimes water leaks through the window when it rains hard. I am almost sure the water is getting all in the engine bay as well, as the seal is even more broken and chipped than the window seal. As far as my knowledge, the window seal is around $40, not including work cost. I am sure the windshield one is much more, as it is more durable and 6/8x bigger. I am also having to have the hood removed to replace it and a couple hard-to-get-to replaceable holds.
