Besides this problem, it is a really good car with minimal problems. But the only thing is that apparently the battery sucks. I have had this car for less than 2 years and have already had to replace the battery 3 times, going on 4 now in at least a couple months (showing same symptoms). It is not just my car. I have talked to at least 10 mechanics. I live in a hot state and it is only cold a couple months a year. Or mostly only cool. But if you live somewhere cold, I don't suggest this car. You will be needing to pay 200 bucks replacing the battery every couple months.
I don't know how the hell they let this car sell internationally with this problem. It's a beauty of a car and good mileage and everything else works great with no problems. Get compliments all the time. But this problem is almost too much, and I am on the edge of giving it up. Every time I drive somewhere, I am stressed (god will my car start when I leave? Am I going to be able to make it into work? Etc.). I don't even go on road trips or anywhere far from home anymore, because there is a chance I get stuck. I have a couple times before in the middle of the night. Having to knock at random strangers for miles trying to get a jump start. I carry cables in my car and also a trickle charger for the battery which is in the red mark, even if I unplug it for 2 hours. Not sure if its the battery itself, or something else built in the car. But this car is absolutely great in every way, except for a very unreliable battery which is almost as much a deal breaker as engine/tranny problems.
