A/C dripping water condensate on the interior carpeting. Ford Dealer said that they haven't heard of this issue and there wasn't a TSB to solve it. I watched the condensate from the A/C drip tube dribble down the tube and back into the passenger compartment past the gasket that is supposed to seal that area. There was a 1/8 inch gap between the grommet and the body hole.
I fabricated a deflector for the drip tube in the engine compartment side of the drip tube and this decreased the leakage significantly but there was still some condensate dripping coming from what looked like the interior of the car in the area of the drip tube where it passes through the firewall.
Fabricating a small dam on the interior of the firewall with hot glue below the drip tube and drilling a 1/4 inch drain hole through the firewall at the bottom of the dam took care of the wet carpet.
