While driving vehicle suddenly veered into traffic. Driver had to press hard on the brakes to stop the vehicle. Dealer had been contacted.

Consumer started vehicle and placed gear in "drive". rpms increased to the danger level as the engine raced. Consumer had to keep brakes applied so that vehicle would not suddenly accelerate. Dealer has reprogrammed computer twice, but problem still occurring.

When the vehicle was started, it made a loud noise and automatically accelerated. The consumer took the key out of the ignition to make the vehicle stop. The vehicle was restarted and there was no further problem. The dealer couldn't find the problem. (model ls)scc
