NHTSA recall 04V332000; Ford has issued a front coil springs recall. This vehicle was not included in the recall. The parts still were unavailable from the manufacturer. Consumer has been waiting since September for the parts.

Consumer received recall 04V332000/ manufacturer's recall 04S17/04M04. Contacted dealership, and was informed no parts were available for the front coil spring repairs.

While backing out of the driveway, the front driver side coil spring broke. As a result, the tire was punctured, almost tipping the vehicle over. When it was discovered that the left front coil had broken, it sliced the tire across the top and caused the link on the sway bar to break.
