Just had engine replaced in car, also replaced computer, distributor, fixed resultant electrical problem and now that everything else is working the car won't accelerate! Meaning, engine starts, runs fine but car barely creeps forward. Has been 3 months in repair (yes, "shadetree mechanic" but he swore he could fix it/save it!) and he finally agreed with me that it was time to let someone else look at it. It could be sensor issue? Transmission is newly rebuilt (within 18 months) and was working fine when it went for engine replacement. I desperately need car to get to work and around town for errands--am so tired of asking others for a ride or carpooling at others convenience! HELP!!!???
