My grandmother's 1998 Mercury Mystique check engine light will not go off. I ride and drive the car a decent amount so it can get to be pain in the ass to see every time you check your speed. Replaced the alternator a few months prior to now. No other issues. Also the battery light won't go away. Battery bought from a BMW dealer.
