Vehicle exhibited resistance in steering. Ford dealer found lower steering shaft U-joint frozen from corrosion. Ford dealer stated this condition was similar to that seen for vehicles recalled under Ford recall 13508 and even though it is not currently included, felt this vehicle should be included in the recall. Dealer had to replace the lower steering shaft assembly to return the vehicle to a safe operating condition.
