Love the 2010 Mercury Milan, few problems. The driver side door lock just broke. Can't open from inside. Planning on getting a quote and fixed.

Terrible design for door handles. All plastic materials. Within a few months our rear drivers door would not open from the inside. The coating on front passenger handle is coming off and is sharp. The new issue is the drivers interior door handle busted and you have to open the window to let yourself out. In a real emergency you are trapped in the car.

I went to open my door and my door handle broke. I was trapped inside and had to roll the window down and open the window from the outside. If in vehicle fire or an accident this could be very dangerous. May not be able to get out of the vehicle. If the window will not roll down you may get trapped in the vehicle.
