The air back light is on which has affected the passenger side airbag. The dealer said that the module needs to be changed and if that does not fix the problem, then the seat railing needs to be changed out. Paso robles Ford wants approximately $1000 dollars to fix the problem. This is a safety item which Ford should recall and pay for. The vehicle only has 40,000 miles on it.

My wife was driving on haggerty rd and the intersection with reuter rd, dearborn, mi, 48126. There is no stop sign for my wife ? however, there is a stop sign on reuter for the other car to stop. The driver did not stop and pursue driving with high speed above (25mph). Hits my wife car, the driver front wheel and suspension fully bended and broken. The fender fully damaged and the driver door fully damaged. The air bag never blow up (the driver, the passenger, the driver side door)- air bags never blow. My wife left arm and neck are in sever pain. She can not move her arm (full disabled).

My Mercury Milan, I started noticing multiple problems of my air bag back in 2010, that as I first start the car, that the air bag light on the control panel would be on, after about 15-20 minutes it would then go off, but now on all the time due to a module under the passenger seat. The 2nd problem is of my transmission, while in traffic, alot of stopping and starting, I noticed my transmission seems to slip out as if I'm in neutral, I've seen there was a recall or talk of it for this problem of some of the newer models, but the year for 2007, there is nothing for it, so this problem started well before the years that were listed, this concerns me as if I needed to move out of the way for some odd reason, specially while having family in the car, there'd be now way of doing so quickly if desired, and would absorb an impact of any.so the 2 items listed concerns me as a consumer for "safety reason" specially when driving my children or grandchildren with me.

The technician stated that the front passenger side air bag module would have to be replaced. The failure continued after the repair. The vehicle was taken to the dealer a second time. The technician stated that the front passenger side seat rail, seat sensor, and module would have to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The approximate failure mileage was 97,000.

Less than 30000, miles air conditioning went out and was charged to repair it, air bag sensor light comes and goes but never fixed or repaired. Was in a 30 mile a hour head accident, and air bags never deployed......driver window motor out 2 times...battery went out after 2 years and was charged 140 to replace a 80 dollar battery.... trade it off now or deal with these issues!
