My car gave me an alert for a part that ford did not recall however just extended the warranty, however this issue is a major safety issue. My car will shut off while driving or just sit with no gas to push it even if I'm stepping on the pedal. Ford said they only fix this with a new piece if something goes wrong. When I went to go get this problem fixed they wouldn't fix it under my warranty even though this issue is supposed to be covered. This is a serious safety issue and they will not hold to their word about fixing it under warranty with no charge
