The contact owns a 2010 Mercury Mariner. While driving unknown speeds, the steering wheel became difficult to turn while making turns. In addition, the battery warning indicator illuminated. The local dealer was not contacted. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was contacted and referred the contact to NHTSA. The failure mileage was 120,000.
