The only other major issue was the Throttle Body which was replaced about 3 years ago.
The issue with the brakes was very dangerous and happened suddenly in much traffic in Tulsa, OK on December 2, 2019. Brake pedal went soft and virtually no brakes at all. Very blessed and fortunate there was not a wreck. Brakes were replaced the year before in 2018. Had this truck towed to dealer where I bought the car, Bill Knight Lincoln-Mercury here in Tulsa and they kept this car for nearly 2 weeks checking stuff, master cylinder had already been replaced. Finally this dealership replaced the whole Hydraulic Brake System, bleeding the brake lines several times.
I just noticed on December 22, 2019 a Recall had been issued for certain Ford, Lincoln-Mercury MZK and Mercury Milan, etc and I believe you should add the 2009 Mercury Mariner Premier V6 SUV, FWD to that list. This just has to be a factory problem and people like us should be reimbursed for this awful expense. This truck has low mileage, maintained well and adult driven only.
