The contact owns a 2005 Mercury Mariner. While the vehicle was stationary, the contact noticed that the frame was severely rusted and corroded with holes. Brownell motors Inc in fishkill, New York was made aware of the failure and stated that there was no recall on the vehicle. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The VIN was unknown. The failure mileage was approximately 103,000.
