Left rear Goodyear Eagle tire, ls97tbsb - 225/60R16 on 1999, Mercury, Grand Marquis. Tire has cracked on sidewall of tire, and manufacturer is considering defect to be road hazard. Consumer had to replace tire, tire has been sent to Goodyear for examination.

Michelin all season symmetry radial tire sidewall on the right front tire blew out. Rim hit the pavement and shattered around the circumference. Vehicle fishtailed, and there was no control of vehicle. Vehicle hit median and it rolled over three times before landing on driver's side. Vehicle was totalled.
