There's a rattling noise from within the passenger side airbag. Consumer is afraid that this can cause the air bag not to deploy in an accident. The cause of noise is yet to be determined.

Consumer's girl friend 5'2" tall is too short for air bag on passenger's side. She is generally 10 inches away from air bag. Would she be safe in case of an accident? also, concern about safety of short person and air bag; added on 09-07-1999.
