Fuel system leaks between the filler pipe and the gas tank, causing severe leakage. Every time consumer gases up the vehicle and it sat parked, there was a large puddle of gas on the garage floor. Consumer's daughter found information on the internet pertaining to 95 Grand Marquis'. the dealer stated that consumer's vehicle wasn't included in the recall.

Fuel tank filler neck leaks between filler neck and seals. A recall has been issued on vehicle's make and model; however this vehicle was not included due to VIN #. according to the dealer, recall work was done prior to sale of the vehicle, but the problem still exists due to defective material used in manufacturing.
