Engine is warranted 5 years or 100,000 miles. Trans is 3 yrs or 36,000 miles. Very few motor homes get36,000 mile in three years. Took it to dealer, they said it’s out of warranty and would cost about $8000 for trans plus labor. I said no and took it to a Mercedes trans specialist. Rebuilt trans twice and finally figured trans was running too hot. Put a temperature gauge on trans and engine. Trans was running 270 degrees and engine 210. They both should run at 210. Replaced radiator thinking that would held, it didn’t, so put on another trans cooler, that now runs at 210. The total cost was over $6000. The problem is I don’t trust it anymore.

I talked to Mercedes corporate and they said too bad. This is a $125000 motorhome not a Kia. Then took it to the dealer for a smog recall. They did the recall and removed my license plate frames and put theirs on. Free advertising. Now there is a recall on a rear censer, had 3 problems with dash light coming on. Called Mercedes and they said take it to nearest dealer. Reno was closest. They said they fixed it, but 300 miles later it came back on. Went home and called local dealer who said bring it in, but I know they don’t have the part yet, so I’m waiting. Very mad! I want to go to Alaska but won’t because no one can work on it on the Alaska hwy. Watch out for Mercedes Motorhomes.
