This is the 3rd time this problem has occured however, the problem keeps getting worse. The odor comes from the air vents (I think) and smells like a fresh box of crayons. The more I drive my SLK, the more the odor starts to effect me. On a short drive my eyes start to itch and my throat starts scratching. However, I took my car on the road for a week but the end of the week, my eyes were the color red and bloddshot and I could not stop coughing. I was coughing so bad when I got home, I went to see my doctor. Without getting into too much detail, I lost my voice and was sick for an entire week and could not get out of the bed. For the amount of money I am paying for this car, I should be able to drive it without worrying if it is going to make me sick. Since this is the 3rd time for the same problem, I have asked for the dealership to buy it back. My car (as of today) has been in the shop for 2 weeks waiting on a technician from California to take a look at it.
