"takata recall" the first recall for this vehicle #16V081 was dated 02/11/2016. I received recall notices in 2016/2017 which I have since destroyed that said parts were expected in 2017. I received a 3rd notice in Dec 2017 stating I was priority group 4 with parts expected in Mar 2108. That was followed by one in Jan 2108 changing me to priority group 6 with expected parts in Sept 2018. Today I received another notice, Feb 2019, changing it from a NHTSA recall to a mbusa recall # 2019010001 - phase 4, with no expected parts date, but their website says Sep 2019. This recall was almost 3 years ago and Mercedes Benz seems to be dragging their feet. What does the government consider a "reasonable amount of time"" Mercedes Benz is making and selling cars everyday with ok airbags. Why is the government allowing me to drive everyday with a defective airbag that may cause a death and allow Mercedes Benz to put this off".

Takata recall I own a 2010 Mercedes glk 350 and was first notified by Mercedes back in may of 2016 with an anticipated repair date of September 2017. That was then changed to March 2018 and then September 2018. The latest information now states September 2019 and I have no faith that it will be completed by then. I find this deplorable and can't believe that the department of transportation accepts this continuous pushback of repairs

Takata airbags, priority group 6: I believe Mercedes Benz is dragging its feet in making these repairs. I have received several letters dating back to 2017. Each one provides a date when the parts will be available and the dates come and go. The last date provided was to be September 30, 2018. When I called mb today, they told me the date has been postponed until September of 2019! that is one year away. They need to step up and complete these replacement airbags for the safety of their customers.

Takata recall I have been calling my dealership since I got a notice there was a problem with the takata airbags and nothing is being done. I cannot get an answer as to when they intend to replace them. They are not doing anything to remedy the problem, and are evasive when you question them. Moreover the perrilli tires on my car are constantly going flat. I have had to replace 13 tires. And my car has only 44,000 miles. They blow up while I am driving...it's never a slow leak.

Takata recall I have contacted Mercedes 5 times in regards to fixing the air bag issue, I have a sensor on the dash board that tells me my air bag is malfunctioning. Mercedes has told me they do not have the parts, I can come in and they will turn the sensor off and charge me for the labor. They sent me notification telling me it was affected. This has been going on for 2 years.

Takata recall - Mercedes Benz has repeatedly pushed the date back for the repair on my vehicle, which is housed in "zone a" (California) and is the oldest model year that has been recalled (2010 glk 350). Despite attempts to contact them to get more information about the delay and my risk of injury, they have not provided any additional information.
