Takata recall after approximately 2 years after notification, the identified problems have still not been resolved. Headlights - normal headlight operation does not provide sufficient illumination of the road.
My transmission began leaking fluid with 22,000 miles on it and now the transfer case needs to be replaced because it is leaking transmission fluid. I was driving up a hill and my SUV felt like it was skipping gears. The next day I noticed red liquid on the garage floor. It was towed to Mercedes service department in hoover and supposedly fix. However, the transfer case is still leaking.
Intermittent warning "check right tail and brake light" I check and light not functioning; message disappears, lights work and then repeats with light not functioning. Additionally car fails to start on several occasions. Has been in shop 3 days. Not sure if it is wiring harness faulty, circuit board, perhaps harness or sockets burnt, melted. Note that this problem is rampant in online reporting. Mercedes reports no recalls.
