The contact had not experienced a failure. VIN tool confirms parts not available.

The contact stated that the air bag warning indicator flashed intermittently while traveling various speeds. The contact spoke with the manufacturer and was provided an approximate date as to when the replacement air bags might become available. The contact requested a loaner vehicle, which was denied. What is the disconnect with Mercedes getting available parts and why are they making their vehicle owners wait so long?
