- Summary
- Complaint Malfunction due to the ingress of dirt during the repair of the hydraulic system. Cause Cleaning instructions in WIS are not being sufficiently observed. This can result in dirt entering the hydraulic system of the vehicle or the filling unit. In subsequent filling/emptying procedures, the dirt is then transferred to another vehicle. Remedy Before removing/replacing an electrohydraulic pump unit or the associated hydraulic lines, as well as when removing the electrohydraulic suspension struts, it is essential to thoroughly wash the underbody. If the dust cap is missing/defective and if the filling valve in the interior is contaminated, the surrounding area must be cleaned thoroughly.
