- Summary
- Noise at front seats between seat-back lining and function carrier. Noise is caused by friction of the two component parts. Remove the seat-back lining (back panel) of the front seat concerned using a special tool. Via adhesive bonding, affix 2 pieces of felt at the lower seat backrest structure (see pic. 1). Via adhesive bonding, affix 2 pieces of felt in the upper area of the seat backrest at the function carrier (see pic. 2). Pic. 3 shows the function carrier from behind: Begin applying the adhesive bonding of the felt at the edge (see red arrow). Ensure that the adhesive bonding is applied in the center. Then fold the felt forward. Pic. 4 shows the function carrier from the front: Continue to apply the adhesive bonding to the forward fold. Ensure that the adhesive bonding is applied in the center.
