The vehicle was taken to the local mechanic who diagnosed that the crank case ventilation sensor was faulty and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The local dealer was not contacted. The manufacturer was notified of the failure, but no assistance was provided. The failure mileage was 70,000.
