The contact stated that while vehicle was stopped, the dealer became aware that the wires leading up to the ECU was stripped of the plastic shielding and detached from the ECU. The vehicle was taken to Mercedes-Benz of palm beach located at 4000 okeechobee blvd, West palm beach, fl 33409, to be diagnosed. The contact was informed that the stripped wiring needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 79,537.
