The contact owns a 2015 Mercedes-Benz E250. While driving 4 mph, the steering wheel seized as the contact attempted to steer the vehicle to the left. The contact stated that the brakes disengaged simultaneously and was unable to be depressed. The vehicle was taken to the dealer (Mercedes-Benz of eugene, Oregon, located at 2200 martin luther king jr blvd, 97401 (541) 687-8888), but the dealer could not duplicate the failure. In addition, the dealer stated that the battery was weak. The battery was replaced. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue and offered to evaluate the vehicle over a four week period.
