When I drive and go to shift hard, it won't shift out of first gear. It takes too long to shift, with a jump like it's going into Limp Mode. I don't like this, it does it every time I stop, and then it goes into limp mode. It started 2 months ago. I took it to my mechanic for transmission service. He did a transmission fluid change and filter, but no difference. It still makes it.
After I drive more on the road, it drives fine, but it's only when I come to a stop and go, it doesn't want to shift out of first gear. It's very stressful. It's not safe to drive because I do not know if it will completely stop out of nowhere in the middle of the road when I'm driving.
I've been told it's a defective TCU conductor plate or valve body. I know it's costly to repair it and not all mechanics want to even repair this, only the dealer. But they will charge me a lot and I can't afford it. I already did other repairs on it. I hope this will have a recall. I see a lot of complaining on 722.9 7G tronic transmission, the same issue as mine.
