Summary

The exhaust gas cleaning information label does not correspond to currently valid specifications. It is therefore possible that the emission classification given on the information label may not correspond to the certified classification. This issue has no impact on the vehicle's registration papers. Mercedes-Benz AG (“MBAG”), the manufacturer of Mercedes-Benz, has determined that on certain Model Year (“MY”) 2019-2020 CLS-Class, E-Class, and GLE-Class (167, 213, 238, and 257 Platform) vehicles, the software for the on-board electrical system battery control unit does not correspond to the current series production configuration
