"Collision Prevention Assist Plus failure" and "check engine" lights popped up while driving locally. Vehicle would not accelerate properly and was difficult to drive safely. Was able to drive to the dealership. Hope that the problem gets fixed and would not reappear!
First week I had the car, the electrical system repeatedly failed when I was on the phone. Entire system would turn off/reset and the display unit would go black. Along with that, a high pitched feedback squeal would be heard from the speakers. Car was looked at twice and electrical system was completely rebooted once - nothing would fix the problem. Was finally told that you cannot plug a phone into the media jack found in the middle console - the current media jack is so poor that it cannot handle the variety of electronic signals - email, voicemail, text, etc. that a standard phone has happen - which results in overloading the system.
Dealership was nice enough to trade me out of that car after 4 weeks. Of course, they came out ahead. Fricking ridiculous that a brand new car with an "updated" video display unit cannot handle today's technology. Oh, and by the way, did I mention the wind noise you get from driving this car on the interstate? Also another known problem with no fix.
