The manufacturer was notified of the failure; however, no assistance was provided. The approximate failure mileage was 85,500.

Mercedes Benz of atlantic city (6623 E black horse pike, egg harbor township, NJ 08234) and the manufacturer were made aware of the issue and confirmed that parts were not yet available for the recall repair. The contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The contact stated that the vehicle experienced the failure listed in the recall. Additionally, the interior roof liner was damaged and became detached due to excessive water pouring into the vehicle. The front driver's seat rail was rusted due to the water causing seat adjustability issues. The failure mileage was approximately 100,000. Parts distribution disconnect.
