I have a 2012 C250 Mercedes and I've just recently received a diagnosis for my camshaft adjusters failing and needing to be replaced. The more research I do, the more I see this is a problem with this particular year and model. The mechanic told me I was 6,000 miles outside of the extended warranty Mercedes offered for this repair. I'm going to end up paying close to $4k to repair. I think this should have been recalled as soon as Mercedes was notified that this was a general issues with these particular years/models.
