Engine had very hard time starting, would crank for 10-20 seconds before firing.
Cause was broken plastic piece on the intake manifold. MB wanted to replace the entire manifold for ~$1500
as they do not sell the broken plastic piece.
There are Intake Manifold repair kits available online, which replace the broken plastic piece with a metal replacement. The part and new gaskets was $150, and my Indy mechanic installed at a cost of $350 labor.
