the car was parked on Bloor St. close to the intersection of Bathurst Street. After returning from shopping opened the car's trunk and deposited some presents for Christmas, closed the trunk and heard lie an explosion and in a sudden the glass looked like frozen and slowly some parts glass parts started to fall into the car. I couldn't understand what was going on, since the glass was fine before closing the trunk, the area has an enormous amount of traffic and plenty of stores the cause couldn't be vandalism. Took the car to the dealership and was told that they heard before of similar cases and I should receive an answer the next day. Later at home I did my own research and found out that it happened to many people and is something that happens. The problem is that the dealership believes that they have no responsibility and appears that since there are not enough cases or at least we don't hear much the manufacturers simply wash their hands. I am wandering if somebody gets killed or hurt what are the legal implications for providing a defective glass.
