Dear Mercedes Benz,
I have a C180 2013 which I bought last year, a second owner, and the car is now 94k kilometers and I never had a problem whatsoever with the car. On 3rd of October 2021 I heard some knocking as only three spark plugs were working, not four, and followed by the check engine alarm on, then I stopped immediately and I called the Service center where I service my car and he advised me to park the car in a safe place and it was towed to the service center.
The service center checked the engine with a compression test and found out the the 4th Piston is low and after few days the engine been dismantled and I have attached the photo of the damaged piston.
I really think that there is a defect in the piston and I'm not an abusive user, as I assure you its not the case here. The car is taken care of like it is a baby, very clean up to par on so many levels, and with all maintenance done as per manufacture. I always had a dream of owning a Mercedes known for its quality workmanship, ruggedness, safety and durability.
But I am sorry to inform you that my high expectation from Mercedes is far from satisfactory now.
