Complaint
On AMG variants of MFA2 platform vehicles (A35/45, CLA35/45, GLA35/45, GLB35/45) without code 853 (Midline
sound system) or 810 (Premium sound system), the subwoofer does not emit any entertainment sound.
Cause
The subwoofer only emits entertainment sound on vehicles with code 853 and 810. For vehicles with standard sound,
the subwoofer is only used for the engine sound.
Remedy
If the vehicle has neither code 853 nor code 810, then the subwoofer does not emit any entertainment sound.
This is as designed and therefore not a technical issue. Parts replacement is not necessary or justified. See also
