Common problem with both 2005 Ford Escape and Mazda Tribute 3.0L V6 according to ASE Repair Shop; also many online consumer complaints; can cause other, EXPENSIVE, including transmission problems. Noticed excessive vibration at idle, drove 350 mi - vibration worse, gear shifted rough/clunking. Purchased extended factory warranty ( I am the original owner). Called Mazda Warranty to get repair authorization - closed for holiday - told unsafe to continue driving - motor mount replaced by ASE Repair Facility- BEWARE OF EXTENDED WARRANTIES AND Ford/Mazda 3.0L V6 motor mounts
