1. recall on safety buckle, NHTSA # 03V515000. 2. airbag light continually flashing. Unsafe conditions when driving. 3. foothills Mazda in spokane, wa refuses to replace the buckle assembly stating that the warranty ran out at 50,000 miles. How does a warranty run out on a safety recall? I have tried for nearly a year to have the buckles fixed, but they refuse to do it.

I got in my car after work and attempted to put on my seat belt. It would not latch. I tried for over 10 minutes, to no avail. I had to drive home approximately 20 miles at midnight on the freeway, not wearing a seatbelt. This was very frightening because I always wear a seatbelt. In addition, it is illegal to drive without a seatbelt in California.
