I'm writing this on 9/5/21 but the problem occurred 12/27/19. (At aprox. 16,800-17k miles) Was driving home from a friends, started going forwards and at around 2-3k rpms in first gear I stepped on it, (and what I believe was to be the cause) the car starts to fight the TCS as it's obviously losing grip. So the car is fighting between cutting power and giving full power sent the flywheel into a mayhem coming loose and completely shredding all synchro's and essentially the trans.
I wasn't allowed to see the old transmission in person, however the technician performing the replacement told me he found bits of syncro and metal shavings in the trans fluid.
