Meh, I bought the car used, the previous owner had the thing held in place with velcro pads. unfortunately, in the Texas heat, the adhesive on the pads gets unsticky and the visor suddenly drops into the down position. The two velcro pads remain firmly fitted together, dangling with the visor.
This, I understand is a common problem with this Miata. (I've seen several complaints on other forums).
