10 years into ownership, the clear coat started bubbling and eventually peeling on hood, trunk, and rear quarter panels. Unfortunately no way to save the look of the car at that point, so either the panels or the entire car had to be repainted. Rather than risking the problem affecting other panels later, I opted to have the whole car painted.
