Performed AVR Test. Alternator not charging. Possible wiring problem. Test for power. Wiring has power. No feed power through. Removed PCM. Installed breakout box. Tested wires between PCM and Alternator, connection okay. Reconnected alternator still not charging. Inspected for output in harness. Put out low 0 volts. Installed new alternator ran vehicle. Charged for 15 minutes then stopped charging. Installed new PCM and reprogrammed. Also went over wiring repair performed by a different shop. Redid repair. Vehicle still not charging. Contacted Mazda technical center they instructed to test all PCM grounds. All PCM grounds good. Retest. Still no charge. Tech line instructed to check ground terminal 53. Did so and still no charge. Replaced alternator again and reprogrammed PCM again Vehicle now charging. Road tested and then retested system, system still charging. Let vehicle sit then retested still charging. Correction completed up to now, but only vehicle starting to develop problem with starter
