I bought my Mazda Speed 3 new. The passenger side sun visor failed at 30,000 miles. I took it it to the dealer and they fixed it under warranty. I had to wait about three days which was really inconvenient due to the obstruction to visibility.
Now the driver side sun visor failed at 33,000 miles. It whacked me on the forehead pretty hard. Now I have to wait another three days to get this fixed under warranty.
My complaint is this car cost $22,000 and I am already seeing failures that most cars don't see until they are well past 100,000 miles!
I don't have super human strength so I don't see why these failures should have happened so early in the car's life for any other reason than it is a defect and Mazda should really take a look at this. How Mazda treats their customers early in the cars life will have a huge impact on whether we will be return customers.
