The problem occurs mostly at lower speeds when the engine needs to either up shift of down shift (possibly in the second to third gear range). When slowing to go around a corner and accelerating out of the corner the vehicle looses all power and the engine returns to an idle. This lack of acceleration can last from a few seconds to as much as 10 to 15 seconds. This situation occurs randomly and I have not been able to duplicate it intentionally. Some days it will occur up to 8 or 10 times and go for several days thereafter without an occurrence The only way to clear the problem is to either leave your foot off the accelerator during this time or punch it to the floor. According to the dealership "they have never come across this before". What an unbelievable dangerous situation.
