Started noticing grabbing problem with brakes and took it in to the dealer. I was told that it is normal and Mazda's brakes tend to be grabby. Also heard a squeaking noise (same as when you get a warning that the brake pads are worn) while traveling slowly and not having foot on brakes. Then problem has evolved into the car chattering when stepping on the brakes at a high rate of speed (i.e. while on the freeway) causing the whole car to shake pretty violently. Additionally get noise when stepping on the brakes kind of like a groaning noise. Both my sons are mechanics and have stated that there is something wrong with the brakes. I made an appointment to go into the dealership to have them checked. They said they would inspect the brakes and I said they need to do more than inspect them, they need to drive the vehicle so they can get a first hand sample of what the problems are. The odd thing is they seem normal at times and then at other times are really bad. Very inconsistent.
